Randi Jaffe

Founder/CEO

Randi Jaffe is a Certified Child Life Specialist who has supported pediatric patients and their families in hospital settings for 17 years. Randi has also worked extensively with families experiencing trauma and hardships outside of the hospital. 

Through her work at Lost Stuffy Project, Randi has emphasized the psychological role of comfort objects in helping children regain a sense of stability and control after traumatic events. Her leadership of the Lost Stuffy Project has brought national attention to the small but meaningful ways communities can support children in times of crisis. As our founder, Randi brings a blend of big-picture thinking and hands-on experience.

Randi lives in New Jersey with her husband and two children. 

Sara martinez

CDO

Sara Martinez, MPH, is a former Certified Child Life Specialist and the current Co-Executive Director of the Mindful Child Initiative (MCI), where she leads efforts to integrate mindfulness education into schools and community settings reaching 12,000+ youth per year. 

With a background in public health, she is deeply committed to addressing the social determinants of health, reducing health inequities, and building systems of care that support children and families, especially in communities with the greatest need. Sara’s professional experience bridges clinical, educational, and community-based settings, allowing her to translate research and best practices into practical, accessible tools. 

Outside of her professional work, Sara enjoys deepening her mindfulness and yoga practice, running, traveling and spending quality, intentional time with her family and friends.

jason sizemore

Board of Directors

Jason Sizemore, M.Ed., served PreK-8th grade public school students in Harrisburg, PA, the five boroughs of NYC and Allentown, PA for 21 years as a teacher & administrator. Jason’s passion for the welfare of all beings who are within the walls of our schools and beyond has driven him to support the Mindful Child Initiative as its Co-Executive Director by working with students, school staff and community organizations to provide self-care and mindfulness training and experiences while also serving as an advocate for the importance and value of trauma informed mindfulness education.  Jason also owns Butterhead Kitchen, offering plant based events, cooking experiences, catering and products in the Lehigh Valley and beyond.  

AManda Shankin

COO

Amanda Shankin lives in New Jersey with her husband and two children. She brings 17 years of Product Development and Sourcing experience to Lost Stuffy Project, where she is dedicated to helping the team expand its reach to more families in need. Amanda is passionate about restoring comfort and joy during life’s most challenging moments — and she still treasures her own childhood teddy bear. 

Chiara Gough

CFO

Chiara Gough, CPA, is a finance professional and advocate dedicated to helping mission-driven organizations create meaningful impact in their communities. As a CPA and founder of Vesta Bookkeeping, Chiara specializes in financial strategy, operational support, and helping growing organizations build sustainable systems for long-term success.

Through her work with Lost Stuffy Project, Chiara combines her passion for community service with her belief that comfort, compassion, and emotional support can make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families facing difficult circumstances. She is committed to supporting the organization’s mission of bringing comfort and hope to children who have lost treasured comfort items during times of crisis, transition, or hardship.

Chiara brings a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach to both her professional and volunteer work, with a focus on transparency, organization, and helping nonprofits grow their impact responsibly. 

jen wilder

Board of Directors

Jen Wilder is a corporate executive turned entrepreneur and advisor, with leadership experience as a Chief Marketing Officer, General Manager, and Corporate Strategy leader. She has spent her career helping organizations grow, evolve, and navigate complex challenges.

Jen works closely with entrepreneurs—especially women founders—to unlock their next stage of growth through clear strategy and thoughtful execution.

Her involvement with The Lost Stuffy Project reflects her belief that even the smallest acts of care can have an outsized impact. Jen is based in Dallas with her husband and two children.
